I went to D&D with Dee for several years, and it was absolutely a place where my creativity could shine. I loved getting the chance to tell stories with my peers, and I felt like we were always closer by the end of the campaign. I have the absolute fondest memories of coming up with eccentric solutions to classic D&D problems (I was always trying to befriend the dragons). D&D environments can sometimes be adult-centered, so having a place to play with other kids (with guidance from Dee, of course) was such a welcome surprise. I would recommend it to anyone, but especially to kids with big imaginations and kids who love to act, write, and tell stories.
